Currently, the entire group handles personnel and labour operations of approximately 280 people (3 bases) with 3 people.

I wanted to make all the human resources systems like attendance management, payroll, labour management, and human resources management cloud-based. The five operating companies have three branches, and the working styles include two shifts and reduced working hours, and there are multiple types of employment, making management complicated. In addition, we were planning to introduce new work styles such as telecommuting, flextime, and slide work. The attendance system was the first to be selected for cloud computing. This is because it was necessary to understand whether the attendance management data, which is directly related to salary, apply to our employment rules, and whether the stamping time does not deviate from the actual situation in order to comply with compliance.

For attendance, I used the software I made in-house, and for payroll, I used the pre-existing installed software. Every time there is a change in internal rules or a revision of the law, we ask a maintenance management system company to repeat the test and bring it to the production environment. Extensive work was required. I thought that the cloud would save time and money.

In order to improve the efficiency of management work, which was an issue, we considered the simultaneous introduction of work that can be converted to the cloud. One of the reasons for selecting KING OF TIME is that it can be linked with various cloud services.

Money Forward cloud payroll for payroll, office station for labour management, and Kaonavi for human resources management. By collaborating, we were able to make it electronic and paperless, and we were able to significantly reduce the labour not only on the manager side but also on the employee side.

When selecting an attendance management system, it was the stamping method that bothered me. We also considered automatic stamping using PC logs, but we couldn’t handle it for employees who are designing for Mac because they were all compatible with Windows. During the examination, it was found that KING OF TIME could automatically link data with the entry/exit management system called “Akerun”, and it was decided immediately.

The record of entering and leaving the room is automatically stamped for attendance and departure, and there is no omission of stamping, so we were able to grasp more accurate working hours. Employees no longer have to be conscious of stamping.

After selecting the attendance management system as KING OF TIME, it was smooth to select a system that could be linked. It took about 3 months from selection to full-scale operation because it was all in the cloud.

At the same time, we converted multiple operations to the cloud, but for announcements to employees, we held a briefing session for employees and shared the manual via the company intranet and email. Frequently asked questions were created and shared, and detailed questions were dealt with individually.

KING OF TIME introduced a new way of working, knowing that it can handle various aggregation rules and that there are various stamping methods. The operating company MCT has introduced Activity Based Working and a flextime system that allows you to work at home or on the go, regardless of location.

The most joyful thing about being able to control the time was the reduced commuting load.
