Looking at the calculation period, it has become possible to reduce the processing time by almost half of what it used to be.

There are several facilities directly managed by our company, but the salary calculation for employees at each base is done collectively at the head office.
At the base, time cards are used to manage attendance, but at the head office, there was work to collect them, manually input them, and proofread the input results so that there were no mistakes. In addition to this, if there is work to check with the employees at the site, the man-hours will increase and the workdays will take a certain amount of time. The problem was that mistakes were likely to occur and the burden on payroll was heavy.
So I decided to automate attendance management, and when I started looking for products, “KING OF TIME” was selected as a candidate. Since it is a cloud-based service, it matches the environment like our company where the bases are separated. In addition, some of the facilities we operate are open for a limited time, such as opening only in the summer.
In that case, general attendance management services often cost more than the number of users per year, and in some cases, the total cost does not match the actual situation. However, in the case of “KING OF TIME”, the monthly charge can be charged according to the number of employees used, so it was also a decisive factor that it could be finely adjusted.
Most of the facilities we operate are located far from urban areas, so we have one PC at each base and connect it to the network with a Wi-Fi router according to the local environment. ..
For the actual stamping, we asked each employee to prepare an IC card and hold it over the reader installed at each facility.
For IC cards, we use transportation and distribution cards such as Suica, Pasmo, and even nanaco. Being able to substitute an existing card for a time card saves money and I think it has greatly contributed to shortening the introduction period.
I’ve heard that the introduction of an attendance management system simply replaced the time card with an IC card, and once you got used to it, it was a simple system change with almost no burden, so switching on-site was smooth. Production has started in July 2016, when the number of employees is the highest in the high season, but there have been no problems until now.
As long as you stamp it, you can get the numerical values required for aggregation immediately from the management screen, so you can perform speedy calculations. Since basic numbers can be moved by copy and paste, there is almost no need to review them after inputting, and the workload up to payroll calculation has been greatly reduced to about half of what it used to be.
Also, by using the “KING OF TIME” estimation function, you can find out a certain amount of salary before detailed calculation results are obtained. This is a very welcome feature for us, where labour costs fluctuate greatly depending on the season.
Frankly, I think the accuracy of payroll calculation after the introduction has improved significantly. I would like to continue using “KING OF TIME” to further improve the overall quality of attendance management.
